The Sock Drawer

Hand Lettering // 2016–2018

Some clients are just a pair* made in heaven. The Sock Drawer is a soleful* business based in San Luis Obispo, California, selling (you guessed it!) super fun socks. Hand lettering was a key element of their brand, offering just the original touch their business kneeds.*

I created custom lettering for every sale, season, and promotion for just over 2 years. Each piece was toetally* unique, and more fun than the last. We paired the lettered graphics with lifestyle photography to feeture* the socks, which were used on their website and email campaigns. I also designed custom lettered signage for their storefront, including their chalkboard and shelf and front window. Working with this crew* was so fun and I’m grateful for all the joy we brought to downtown SLO and beyond.
