Intersectional Feminism

Intersectional Feminism

Animation // Spring 2017

Created as a student at Cal Poly SLO, this animated video explains the basic tenets of intersectional feminism. Partners Kiana Kraft, Anh-Thu Luu, and I collaborated to create a consistent visual language throughout the video—including colors, typefaces, animation styles, and music/voice overlay. Beyond expanding our animation skill set, our goal was to inform and inspire viewers to reflect on their privileges and choose to  practice feminism in a more powerful way.

Video was created in Adobe After Effects with graphics created in Illustrator as a student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, in collaboration with two amazing designers and women, Kiana Kraft and Anh-Thu Luu.
